Abstract


The purpose of this study was to investigate workers¢¥ dental patient satisfaction and find out the related factor. The subjects were 519 workers of H automobile company in Wanju-gun, Chollabuk-do. The study base was a cross-sectional questionnaire. And the questionnaire was composed of 14 items such as social economic factor, oral health behavior factor. The measurement of dental patient satisfaction was measured by 5 degree Likert scale. Measures of the variables were all based on self-assessments.
The obtained results were as follows:
1. The patient satisfaction score of workers showed 65 degree in 100, so it is needed to make efforts improving patient satisfaction.
2. The satisfaction with interaction of subscale patient satisfaction was the highest, and that with cost was the lowest.
3. By the result of stepwise multiple regression about patient satisfaction, the most affected factors on patient satisfaction are overall imagination and education level.
4. There was correlation between patient satisfaction and willingness for revisit. Also there was correlation between patient satisfaction and willingness for recommendation. And the group having regular dentists showed higher patient satisfaction than the group not having regular dentists.
5. Reliability of measuring tool for patient satisfaction is 0.95 Cronbach¢¥ s alpha value, and the reliability of patient satisfaction qustionnaire appears to be high.
